Princess Birthday Cake- before

I'm planning to do the after picture tomorrow after she cools and I get her all frosted. I was thinking about just cutting the legs off of one of Amelia's 'garage sale' barbies, gross right?! Don't worry this is a real cake decorating doll. (no lower body just a post). I really couldn't figure out how to get the barbie legs removed... probably a blessing for all who are going to eat the cake.

We got up early and headed to Scottsdale for a family hike. Scott said he has never had such a heavy backpack on in his life...

"Sooo cute..."

Today when Amelia woke up from her nap she didn't just come right down like she usually does. Instead I heard her voice in the monitor, "Mom, come up quickly, I'm doing something soooo cute. You better bring the camera." I grabbed my camera and ran up the stairs. She was laying on her bed in the same position as Creamy(her lamb). She said, "I've been laying here like this so you could say how cute it is..."

She was right!!!
