August 28th 2010

Eleven years ago this morning, we were married. Oh, how times change. Today was the being of Saturday morning soccer games for the Murray family. Scotty's game was first.
Followed by Sissy's first soccer game EVER!!
The ball you see was kicked by Scotty and it was a GOAL! He's the little guys in the middle of all the red shirts.
Thumbs up!
Since he (and Mac) are just getting over Pneumonia he got to have a break as goalie.
High-fives!
Time for the 6-7 year olds. Sissy was the cutest little thing. She really had no idea what was going on. She just kept running her buns off chasing the ball.
She has a great coach, she gave Sis some instuctions.
Running and running.
More running....
A water break and some encouragment from Dad.
Look closely, that's Amelia's foot kicking that ball!! We were going crazy, cheering our heads off!
Later that day we went for a family bikeride/adventure. Self timer.
We found a creek with frogs and fish.
Macker wanted to lead the way.
Next we found a horse.
Then we realized it wasn't real.Lastly, we found a lake.

I can't think of anything I would rather have done on our 11th wedding anniversary. (except maybe a sunny, tropical beach....)

Last Days Of Summer

Right before Amelia started school we surprised her and took the whole gang to Lake Geneva for the night. One night and look at all the JUNK we brought along.

Jumping on the bed.... oh yeah!!

Like father, like sons.

Time to swim. We stayed at the pool for about 5 hours straight.

So dreamy... right across from the lake.

Hey, Junie! Was it fun!!

Time for the park.

Sweet sliding.

Me and my Scooter. 11 years!!

Climbing.

Walking to McDonald's for a sundae.

Why does Macker look so old?Enjoying ice cream, watching the boat parade. Dreamy.Waiting for fireworks. We decided to put back on our swimming suits and watch the fireworks from the hot tub. Dreamy.Early morning coffee.

Dreamy.

Early morning hike around the lake. They have a very cool trail around the entire lake.

We saw huge mansions.

Macker loved it too. His leggers got a little tired on the way back.

We ended our time with another couple hours of swimming. It was the perfect way to end the summer. So thankful!

2nd Grade

We woke Sissy this morning with breakfast in bed. She had been a little teary about summer being over. (me too)
Scott sang "Happy 2nd grade to you... "
Sissy picked out her new school outfit.
My sweethearts! Macker kept saying, "I miss you, Sissy." ( I think he's heard me)
Oh how I'm going to miss her all day long!
Walking to school.
Her wonderful school!
So thankful for her BFF Tyson in her class this year.
Here's her new teach Miss. Campbell. She greeted each student with a big hug. ( I love that!!!)
Her desk, not too far from Tyson.
After Sissy was sitting in her desk for a while she got up and ran over and hugged me. She whispered in my hear, "I have a feeling this is going to be the best year, don't worry about me mom..."
It's been 2 hours and 15 minutes. I can hardly wait to pick her up!!
