Macker went on his first real play date today. I can't begin to tell you how excited he was to wave goodbye to Sam and I. He thought he was such a big boy. Love him!

Embarrassing

Okay, I'm going to let you in on a little secret... I only do laundry once a week. Usually about 10 loads on one day and then it's done. Done for a whole 6 days (other than towels and sheets).
If you're wondering why the boys look so excited, it's because we have a little tradition.

They stand (or lay) at the bottom of our landing and then we throw all the dirty clothes on top of them.

It makes an enormous mountain of clothes.

Looks like Scott got hit in the head with a belt of something.

Gross, I know, but we all laugh our heads off.

Then it's time to sort.
I'm just trying to keep it real.

Bros!

This was a big deal. It's the first time I let Macker walk down to the sledding hilll with Scotty alone. As in, NO ME with them. He was so happy and feeling so old.

My big boys.

Don't worry, I got in the car less then 10 minutes later and joined them:)

I'm a Sucker

I totally admit, I'm not a Pinterest person. I really don't totally understand how to "pin", but whenever I look on there I love all the ideas. I remembered a while ago seeing this cute Valentine card and I thought it looked easy. So, I did it. I had my boys stand outside in the yard (so the background would be plain) with one arm in the air. (EASY)

They thought it was fun!

Next I uploaded the pictures and used PICMONKEY photo editing site (it's free and super easy). I changed picture to black and white and then added the text in several different fonts. Make sure when you add the text you leave a little space around the edge so that when you print the picture you won't lose any of your words.

I printed 4x6 pictures at Walgreens.

Then I carefully cute slits in the picture.

Finally, I added a sucker and placed a little piece of scotch tape to the back so that the sucker would stay in place. Easy and cute.
Thing I would do differently next time: *Ask for matte finish NOT GLOSSY* Total cost for 50 cards. $9.00
