Surprise Fun

Yesterday Robyn asked if we'd like she and the boys to come over (today) while Lance did work in the Chicago area! DUHHHH!! YES!!!!!! They arrived just after 9am for a really fun day.

 We spent most of the day outside playing in the yard. We also had a picnic lunch in the yard. Robyn brought fancy root beer.

 Owen was hysterical, he tried on a costume about 3 sizes too small. (I cropped the picture to keep the blog modest)

My mom treated my sister and I to the Beth Moore conference in Moline, IA (we missed you, Kers). Scott had the crazy kids all day Friday and Saturday. I'm so thankful. We had the BEST time. We laughed our heads off and learned quite a bit too!

 We were soooo lucky, Robyn and her friends from Muscatine were also at the conference and they saved us seats waaaaaay up by the front!

Such a fun weekend. THANKFUL!

It was raining when we got up this morning, but it didn't stop us from walking to Dunkin Donuts.

His birthday party was at a place called Monkey Buziness. (Thank you, Groupon) My mom and dad drove all the way from Iowa to spend the day with us.

My tiny little spicy sweetheart is 4 years old today. It's hard to imagine this was 4 years ago. I love Macker!
