Mac 19 days old

He really smiled yesterday!
He looked right in my eyes and smiled!!

I love his big eyes.

Do you guys think I should use this one for the birth announcement?




*** Dr. Yokois called today and said she totally doesn't understand how but Scotty has NO eosinophils on the biopsies. She's thinking that he can start to eat even more real food and try, in the next year, to end his fancy formula all together. She still wants his to avoid all milk and a couple of other things...but I can hardly believe it! She thinks the blood in his stomach may have been old and possible from something scratching his esophagus. She said he's pretty amazing. I agree!! Thank God!

Poor little Jordan had a little reaction to her anitbiotics. It was 100% worse in person. Glad she has such a cute face.

The scope is over!

Scotty is now home and doing well. The initial look at his esophagus looked good but when she took the biopsies his esophagus began to bleed which she thought could indicate high levels of eosinophils. She also saw dried blood in the bottom of his stomach which could also indicate high levels of eopinophils so we just wait for the biopsy reports in the next couple of days then make a plan. I wanted the doctor to say he was perfect (we already knew that) but I am very thankful for how far he's come and I am confident that God has a plan for his life.
Psalm 139: 13 - 14 - For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Yesterday Scotty was helping Scott pump gas. It's his new favorite thing to do.
A friend of ours gave us passes to a fun resort. The kids had a blast.
It was a little hot for McCoy so after about 10 minutes we went into the lobby and read magazines for a couple of hours.

Pray for Junie

Hey blog world,
Please pray for Scotty in the morning. He is being put to sleep to have a scope of his esophagus done. They are looking to see how his Eosinophilic Esophagitis is doing. He's been so healthy and we are hopeful for a clear report. It's at 7:00am. Thanks friends!

Pine Arizona!

We had the best 24 hours in Pine with our crazy friends. It was so special to get away and spend time together in the beautiful mountain weather. Pretty soon her blog should be updated. (hint, hint)
The kids loved all the playing and they were sleeping before we got out of town.

Grandma Karen

I'd like to ask everyone to pray for Scott's mom Karen. They came over yesterday to tell us that she has been diagnosed with colon cancer and that it has spread to her liver. Our hearts are so heavy with the thoughts of what's to come. She will undergo tons of tests (liver biopsy, colonoscopy, etc...) in the next week and then her oncologist will make a plan. Please also pray for Scott right now as he deals with this.
Lamentations 3: 22-25 - Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, "The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him." The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him.

His face is already getting chunk, I love it. He's the best baby, he just eats and sleeps and poops. He's been sleeping 5 hours at night then we feed him then another 4. We're so thankful to God for his healthy body.
Mac is already a blogger...
It's the perfect spot for him. I'm not sure if I would have done this with Amelia?
Junie wanted to be swaddled. It seems normal to me.
