All Better...pretty much.

We're home from the hospital and the new tubes are in place. Thank God.
It was a really long morning (Dr. was 2 hours+ behind) We're home now and the kids are watching a movie. Junie is a little sad and he said his ears feel willy weird.
He walked away with a OR nurse like a bog boy. I looked over and Big Scott was crying a little.
Thanks everyone for your prayers.

Tubes

Would you all please pray for Scotty in the morning. He's getting a new set of tubes at 8:30am. I know it's not a big deal compared to a lot of things but I would still appreciate your prayers. Thanks friends.

Zoo

We had a great morning at the zoo. The monsoon last night gave us great temperatures and over cast skies. (...and a huge amount of humidity)
Hey, Crazy Face!
Special treat, we had a coupon for a FREE Icee!
Junie showing some love.We also had coupons for a buy one, get one free on the carousel. Ready to head home for some swimming to cool off.

Pecos is the Best!

We just love our swimming lessons at Pecos (public pool). The kids have both really learned to swim and the teachers are all so nice. Scotty really loves Mr. Blake. (every kid does) He even prays for him before bed. Today Mr. Blake pulled me aside and told me he needed to talk to me about something. I got a little nervous but he just wanted me to know that Scotty passed level 1 but they were not going to move him up because he wanted to teach him for the rest of the summer. I love that and I told him that I was sure Scott wouldn't want move up without him anyway.
Amelia's teacher calls her Bob Queen.
She's learning the backstroke and having a great time.

Here are some swimmin' studs. Scotty, Miles, Daniel and Colin!

Sissy and Junie having a little picnic.

Hey, where'd this crazy come from? Looks like water aerobics to me. Is that Mrs. Spice in the background?
Oh wait no, she's skipped the last 2 days....

Goodbye old carseat...

We got this carseat at a garage sale before Amelia was born. We just noticed that it's expired. (a while ago... sorry Astraea)
Can you believe how big she is?

Happy Sweet 32nd!

Wonderful Mrs. Spice is now 32!!!

Blowing out the candles.
We had the best night of fun and laughing. The clubhouse was beautiful and the fancy drinks were a hit! Mrs.Spice's mom put on the entire party. What a mom!

The dinner was delicious and the games were funny... some people cheated.

Josh made himself comfortable.
Kel and I close up.Josh and Scott showing some love. I wish I would have taken more picture but I saw Josh with a camera a lot. Maybe he got a picture of Adam the bartender or the special blog stalking friend Dana! The night was awesome, thank you Mrs. Spice for turning 32. You are very loved!

Fireworks!

We headed out to a local high school to watch fireworks this year! The kids were a little excited! Papa Bear found the very best spot in town.

Relax Robyn, we've got it!
The kids had fun playing soccer.

Scotty got a little sweaty. Okay, really sweaty.

These 3 tried to take a self portrait. Nice try... I think I know who was holding the camera.
The temperature dropped by about 25 degrees and the wind started to blow. We could see lightening in the distance... the monsoon was coming.
No problem, we enjoyed the breeze.
All of the sudden it missed us.
We had to wait a little while for the fireworks, so why not attack Lance?!

Perfect spot for a little rest.
Colin in Josh's hat and our stroller...
Mikele taught him that. Thanks.
Finally watching the fireworks.
Then we were asked to move to a different field to the east to avoid hot burning ashes that were falling on the crowd. No big deal. We had the best time. Thanks friends for making memories. The finale was the coolest part. Check it out!
These little sweethearts had the best time. Here they are marching out at HS at after 10:30pm!
Sissy said that July is her favorite holiday! I think she mean the 4th.
