Willow Creek Christmas

Another family tradition that we all love, is going to the Christmas church service at Willow. Each year is amazing, the music, the drama and the story. Scoot and I always end up crying. This year was no different.  They have a really sweet tradition, at the end of every service they play Silent Night and encourage you to tell the people you came with how much you love them. Our family did a giant group hug. The service was over an hour and a half and all 4 kids sat quietly through the entire thing. That alone is a Christmas miracle.

Caroling

Our tradition continues, we love our neighbors and it's a joy to surprise them with songs, treats and crazy dance moves:)

My Wiseman

Macker had his important 4 year old Christmas performance.

It was Sissy's first outing after surgery and she was feeling pretty good. Macker really didn't care if the rest of us even came to the show, it was all about NANNY.

Sammer was a perfect angel once he had Scott's phone.

Can you spot my wiseman?

He was awesome, and I'm not just saying that. (ignore the nose picking)

Bells!

Big smile.

Grandma's glasses.

Hug.

Love.

Twinies.

I found this little cutie on the wall in his classroom.

Bye Bye Tonsils

Sissy has struggled with throat issues for a while so the doctors recommended removing her tonsils.

She was really nervous.

I'm glad Scott took her while I stayed home with the boys.

These are all the pictures scott texted me.
The surgery went great and we are thankful but then she got a high temp and she started vomiting. I called my mom to come save the day. She came and STAYED for 4 days!!!! It was a lifesaver.

These are all pictures from my phone.

Tired Sammer.
Open gym.

Our sweet neighbors GAVE us a sweet table and 6 chairs. (have I mentioned how sad I am they are moving?)

Juner was on the coolest soccer league.

Sissy got her tonsils removed and Nanny came to save the day. More on that later.

Love

My little Sammer is ADDICTED to Sissy.

If he could have his way, Sissy would never leave his side.

I'm so thankful.

Special Weekend

Sissy and Juner were in a performance at church so we had a bunch of special visitors come to watch!

The cheering section.

Macker thought Nanny came only to see him.

Sissy had a cute little solo.

See that cute little angel? (It's my Junie)

Papa Gary with his mom.

Grandma and Amelia did all the hard work on our gingerbread house, while Macker ate candy.

The Happy Harker gang.

I can't begin to tell you how special it was to have my grandparents with us.

We came back to our house for a little family lunch.

Special time with the family.

Then we jumped into our car and made our way to downtown Chicago. It was a busy Saturday in the city. We stopped by Christkindlmarket.

Cool pose!

Cousins!

Thanks for visiting us everyone!

Amelia's Holiday Concert

Amelia was so excited to perform for us.

Sissy got to be in a little mini group solo. She was awesome!

Sammer was so proud of his sister.

Sammer spent the majority of the concert on our friend Brian's lap. Brian pulled up this picture on his phone. It was the day Sam came home from Ethiopia. So special. What a different 18 months make. Thankful.
