Sissy has been doing indoor soccer all winter and she's been learning so much!
She had the best coach and the nicest kids on her team. (On a side note, there was literally not one game where she wasn't in the face with a ball)
Our friend came over and fixed a leaking sink.
We dyed eggs. (Junie kept saying we dialed eggs)
Sissy only had on an undershirt because I didn't want her to ruin her other one..
We made a quick drive to Iowa to celebrate Easter and Cousin Hanker's birthday. Here are all the cousins ready for the egg hunt.
Junalicious!
Hankatron.
Nanny and Papa.
It was just a little windy...
The birthday boy!
Blowing out 7 candles.
Back to IL for Easter Sunday.
Ready for church.
Then we had our Awana Awards Night! Junie was a rock star Cubbie. When he saw me in the back he did a cool dance move then blew kisses. People laughed, I was proud.
It was Sissy's 5th year in Awana and her FINAL year as a Spark. These are all cute 2nd grade friends!
This is Sissy's friend Hanna and her mom Tenga.
Sis and Hanna go to school together and the are also on the same Awana team. (I'm one of their leaders) Hanna'a mom is from Ethiopia and I offered to take a care package to sister. Tenga has not seen her sister since she moved to America 10 years ago.
The day we arrived in Ethiopia we called her sister and through a translator we were able to give directions to the guest house where we were staying. I gave her the packages and a big hug from her sister!(can you believe how much they look alike?)
Macker graduated from Puggles, June graduated from Cubbies and Sissy graduated from Sparks!!
We all cheered him on!
This is my favorite goal of the day!
Our family participated in a fundraising bike ride. The money raised goes to build houses in Mexico.
Scott and Amelia road the entire 7+ miles. (so proud of her!)
The Gentlemen and I met them for the last 3 1/2. It was a great day!
Our tulips are growing!
A nice family from our church moved into a new house and they didn't want the play set in the backyard so..... they gave it to us. Scott took it apart and moved it to our backyard. Stay tuned for the finished produce.
But to be honest, the majority of our time is spent talking, dreaming, praying and planning for our precious little Samuel. We're so ready to spend the rest of our lives with him.
We should be hearing from the US embassy soon. Please pray for our family!

You've stayed so busy! Wow! I can't believe Amelia is done with Sparks...Jeremiah is dreaming of the day he becomes a Spark. (He's a ways off still :) Praying for Samuel and for him to come home SOON!
So Aunt Karoline was cheating but Scott was helping? :)
Love the boys Easter outfits! Nothing cuter than boys in dress clothes and flip flops! And next year Samuel will be there!!!! Praying for you guys!
Just saw Amelia's bed head in the Easter post...
Weird that Scotty's vest doesn't have all the patches... poor guy has been through so much.
Love Sammy's face!!! In large pictures!
Your family is so much fun!!! I can't wait for it to be complete. :)
