Ice Cold Water

Owen came to spend a couple days with us and we are loving it.

I wish you could all feel how cold that water is. FREEEEZZZING!

Once they got used to it O made a sprinkler and the kids ran through it. It was windy and about 70 degrees. I think they're turning into midwest kids.

Macker couldnt' help himself, he needed to be in the water. Is he really going to be 1 tomorrow?

Neighbor Night

Our favorite (I didn't just write that because she reads my blog) neighbors came over for a night of fun.

The kids had a chance sing the NBC songs for us. ( Amelia and Tyson)

Date Night

Scott's buddy Jeremy was in town for a speaking engagement with Compassion. He invited us to join him at Ignite Chicago.

We didn't realize that we were actually going to be VIP with back stage passes. View from the VIP lounge.

Then it was time to head backstage. SWEET!

I'm not exactly sure how it happened but we ended up ON THE STAGE. Crazy!The first band we saw was Reliant K. We didn't know their music at all but the people in the audience were singing every word.

It started getting dark and then it was time for the feature artist. Jeremy introduced us to this nice guy named MAC who just happened to be the lead singer of THIRD DAY! He was so nice.

Dedication Day

Our little MackyMac was dedicated today.

Maybe if we hadn't waited until he's just about a year old he wouldn't have been such a train wreck. He was noisy and wiggle the entire time. I think the high today was about 70 degrees but I was sweating from wrestling him. And seriously, when on earth has Scotty ever sucked on his fingers?! Gross. He did it the entire time we were on stage. Other than that I'm really thankful.
