6:00pm

This is not the blog post I wanted to write. I would like to ask you again to pray for my friend. Although her surgery went very well on Tuesday the doctors did find some cancerous cells in her lymph nodes so she is having another surgery tonight at 6:00pm. Please pray that the doctors would be able to remove every single cancer cell in her body. Thanks!

Memorial Day

We road our bikes down to the Memorial Day Parade and it was awesome.
The weather was hot and sticky but we found the perfect spot under a huge tree in the shade.

We saw friends marching in the band.
Sammer is addicted to bike rides.
Right when we got home from the parade our neighbor friends joined us for fun in the yard.
 Go, Juner!
I think Macker jumped in about 50 times.
We finished our Memorial Day with dinner and fun in our neighbors yard. So thankful.
Macker and his buddy Audree!

Iowa Fun and Friends

We ended our Iowa road trip with 24 wonderful hours in Muscavegas. The kids literally played for 8 hours straight.
The Williams have a GIANT yard and the kids loved running around like crazy people.
Sammer and I finally got to meet our blog-friend Mollie (her mom is a close friend of Robyn's). She is the cutest!
We also got to meet our friend Leo (Mollie's cousin). He's a 100% miracle and it was such fun to see him in real life.
Sammer has never been round a tiny baby and he had to give him some love.
Do you all remember my friend Leanne? I've asked before for all of you to pray for her as she battles breast cancer. I'd like to ask you again, tomorrow (Tuesday) she is having her big surgery. It's a big deal and I know she would appreciate your prayers. Getting to spend time with Leanne was such a special treat to me. Her attitude and faith in God's plan for her life are simple amazing.
The kids were exhausted, from all the fun!

Friday

Another great day that ended with the most fun evening at my sister's house. Nanny and Papa played ball with Juner.
The girls cousins played dress-up and dolls.
It rained quite a bit, that didn't stop Uncle Lee from battling Hanker and June for over an hour. They were dripping wet.
Obviously, Juner won!

Nanny and Papa with their grand kids(just pretend Aunt Karoline is Sam).
Aunt Kers surprised Amelia with a birthday cake! (birthday next week)
We had a fire and made smores.
Macker was a little nervous...

Meanwhile..... Crazy Cousin Lulu was chasing the big boys.

Way Last Thursday...

Our day began really early with a quick run for Sissy and our friend Adam. (Visiting from AZ)

So sweet.
We had a quick breakfast with our friends before heading out the door for Iowa. The rest of Scott's buddies were arriving in the afternoon for a guys weekend and wives and kids were not invited;)
Nanny had the pool ready.

Sammer loves Uncle Lee.

My mom is all about fun, she filled the pool with baby soap and then told the kids to "kick"!
 Sammer's face says it all.
 The bubbles were overflowing.
I love him!

GREAT DAY!

Free Slurpee Day!

Great.

Great.

Sis ran the mile at gym class and I got to cheer her on.

Great.

Great.

Great.

I couldn't help it. I had to buy Sammer some Toms on clearance.*

Great.
The final really great thing that happened today..... I faxed 15 pages of documentation to the IRS. We are in the process of being audited for our adoption and it has been causing me a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE amount of stress. Today I spent another 2 hours on the phone with the IRS and they helped me to know exactly what they need. I feel so thankful that this part is over. Very likely they will need more info in the months to come but for today I am thankful.
*Sabrina, I realize that Toms are not a self-sustaining company, forgive me. They were just so cute.

American Idol

Our American-Idol-loving-friends came over to watch the final performace with us. It was awesome! We all love Philip Phillips and he was amazing!!!

Lego

June loves his Legos. He plays them constantly.
 He's super creative.
He literally always has a "guy" with im where ever we go..
Now Macker is catching on to the Lego addiction.
 I love it!
Today was Macker's last day of school. Why does he look so old in this picture?
It was fun to play at the park and say goodbye to all his friends.

I love him.
