Indoor Fun

Playdate, making cookies.
Waiting... do those cookies look a little strange or puffy to you? I didn't have enough flour so I used pancake mix. (FYI-Don't do that.)
When the teenagers are at school Macker is King of the Polly Pockets.
When they got home he gets stuck on the end. Poor little #3!

This hunk and I had a hot date on Saturday night. Don't mind the fact that it was my Grandpa's 90th birthday party. We had a sitter so it was a date.
Here are my wonderful grandparents. Married 68.5 years and two of my favorite people to around.

Grandpa Jack is 1 in a million.
Can you see the resemblance between he and my dad?
It was a special night. Here's my family.
I love him and I'm so thankful for my family.

Our Miracle Boy

At 7 1/2 months our sweet little Scotty was diagnosed with EE. (Eosinophilic esophagitis) We were told that he would ALWAYS have this condition. The best case scenario would be to find several foods he could tolerate and rely on Elecare for the majority of his nutritional needs. This was not very easy for us to swallow. (no pun intended) He's had more scopes than I can count and each time they say his esophagus seems inflamed and the biopsies would come back with eosinophils present. This past year he has been more healthy than ever and he is eating more and more foods without any complications. (THANK YOU,GOD) So this morning he and I went to a new hospital for a scope to see how his insides are doing. He wasn't too excited to be a the hospital but I told him that as soon as he wakes up from the medicine we'd get him a sprinkle donut or 2***. Remember, he's been through a lot.

He's a total rockstar.

We got the best news ever. The doctor reported that his esphagous is perfect. PERFECT!
This new doctor said there was NO evidence of any abnormalities. He took a couple biopsies but he said he is confindent that he no longer has EE.

Scott and I are so thankful to God for how he has continued to healed our Scotty.
Psalm 126:3
The LORD has done great things for us,
and we are filled with joy.
***Today Scotty has eaten 2 chocolate sprinkle donut, a large chocolate chip cookie, goldfish, apple juice, Sprite and I'm just waiting for his next request.

Sickie

For the last week Macker has been a sick little baby.
Two trips to the pediatrician and one to the ER and still just as sick.
My dad, aka Super Papa came to town to save the day.
Within an hours of him being here Macker came back to life.

Papa and Scott came up with a sweet game.

Papa can come visit anytime!!

My poor little Junie had never gotten to ride one of these. Think he liked it?!

Sissy loved them too and nice Colin shared all this toys.
Macker and Scooter loved the fun too.

AxMan was more interested in rolling this car down the walkway into my Macker.
Heather gave him some love.

Good job, Adam.

A little playtime before bed.

And a little Mario Cart.
