Day 5

This day was Jen's 35th birthday and we started the morning with Krispy Kremes on the beach!

Back to the pool for more fun.

We went out for the afternoon to celebrate the birthday. It was fun to have lunch and shop together, just like old times.

When we got back we were invited to the most wonderful Shell Shop.

Somehow these little suckers ended up making almost $10.00.

That night the kids had their theatrical performance in the basement while we girls set up Jen's surprise party/Bunco game.

We've always given Jen a hard time about always being fancy NEVER wearing sleeves.... Tonight the men surprised Jen with a very special rendition of "All the Single Ladies".

We prayed and thanked God for Jen and what her friendship means to each of us.

We must really know each other well, these 2 gave Jen the same card. One was purchased in Iowa and one in AZ. How funny is that?
