Our Week

Friends came over to play and everyone did their homework together. (even Macker)
Scott put on a cooking show for us and made Dad's World Famous Cookies.
The weather warmed up (50 degrees) so we bought popsicles and ate them outside.
BBBBrrrrrrrrr!
A quick trip to see cousins. Macker loves Cousin Hank.
Boy cousins.
Macker wanted Aunt Kers to hold him the whole time.
More Museum fun.
Macker.
Macker didn't want to share.
Sissy got strep so Scott took Junie to an egg hunt. Scotty saw his friend and looped him.Scotty was serious about getting the most eggs.
He came home and shared his loot with the gang.

Walk

The sun was shining this morning so it seemed like a good idea to walk Amelia to school. I don't know if you can tell by the picture but it wasn't as warm as I thought. They were freeeezing. I just told them to walk faster and they're hearts would beat faster and warm their bodies. What? Today I was telling Scotty that he needed to act like a good boy if he wanted his friends to come over, at the end I said "I am dead serious."
His response was "I dead promise."

Tulips

Last fall I bought a huge bag of 50 tulip bulbs from Costco. I stuck them in the ground and just a couple short weeks later it started snowing. I was seriously wondering if any of them would come up. Can you see them in this picture?

Sissy will point them out for you. (see the little red plant?)

They are amazing.

Can you see them now?

Isn't it amazing that the were under the snow all winter and now they're here. Seriously, I counted and as of last Saturday there were 44 of the 50 growing.
I'll keep you all posted on their progress.

I just had to show you this guy wearing all Junie's old clothes. Oh, how I love him.
Junie's old shoes too...
Some really fun trampoline jumping.
Macker has decided that he will NOT hold my hand but he will hold hands with these guys.
Just FYI, the snow from the other day is all gone and my tulips are just fine.

Navy Pier

Big Scoot is enjoying some much needed love and sunshine in AZ so the gentlemen and I decided after dropping him off at the airport we should go downtown to a museum.
I wanted to go to the Museum of Science and Industry because it's a free day today. (toooo crowded) Junie was dying to go to the Chicago Children's Museum at Navy Pier. How could I say no to that cute face? Our membership allows us free access to this museum too.
Parking was $26.00!! (wowser) I'm so thankful that the nicest lady checking us in offered to validate our ticket! Thank you, God.
We found a free concert for kids. (Chicago's Laurie Berkner) The boys danced...
Took a break for a walk.
All day we kept hearing people talk about Benny the Bull but we didn't really know what they were talking about. Then at 1:00 we found BENNY!!! Hello... Chicago Bull... now I get it.
Benny loved Junie!
The feeling was mutual.
