Sunday Fun

The girls loved wearing old Criddle girls dance outfits. Kel called Kater Gumby all day. Then we went to a Fairtale Day at Usher's Ferry. It's just a historic village.
The conductor of the train drove us to the depot and read a story.
Then Junie got restless and fell off the tracks.
Back in the train. See my dad and Kel in the kid area?
We was a nice conductor. It was actually a lawn mower. These people were playing folk music and Junie was dancing.Nanny got the kids glass bottles of root beer.We walked in and out of old homes. This was inside the bank were Amelia was the boss. Mini and Papa.
Scotty found a microphone and was thrilled...

Love all those cute kids. Looks like non-stop fun! Gumby and Wilma Flintstone look sweet in those dance outfits...

Junie needs to wear Hank's shirt with those pants. Now that would be an outfit!

Wow, the fun never ends at Nanny and Papa's house! I think we should open a fairytail village here. We'll get an old lawnmower off of Craigslist and convert it to a train. Kater and Amelia can dress up as princess's and Junie can be the MC. Miles can run the rides. Ok...that sounds good...let's get on it!

Our crazy neighbors (at our new house in the west coast Iowa) are moving out next week. There house is on the market! So if you decide to return to AZ ... I think you should move out here :) It's still hot but we look out on a farm and walked through grape vineyards last night! Kids rang the doorbell last weekend and were selling organic corn, 5 for $1! It's a Katie neighborhood!!!!

Well, I don't know if you can beat a cornfield in your own backyard but out here ... that's about as close as we get :)
