Tricks and a BIG Fall

Scott got home just before 1:00am so naturally we went on a bike ride before 8:00am.
Macker is loving his new bike so much. He and Scott are serious twins.

Junedog is a total trickster.

This is his latest one.
This picture was taken about 30 seconds before something so scary happened. I was riding behind the rest of the family and all of the sudden Macker's little bike detached from Scott's bike and Mac flew off and landed on his face. I thought for sure he would be bloody and missing teeth when we picked him up. Thankfully he was not. His nose and upper lip are just a little scraped. THANK GOD. We know it could have been SOOOOO much worse. There were no cars around and they weren't going fast at all.  Scott left us all at the French Market in Wheaton while we road his bike back to get the car.  Looks like we might need to get a new bolt for that bike....

Oh I'm glad Macker's alright! Wonder if we should check our tagalong bolt for secureness?! Scott, you're a trooper to get back so late and then head out for an adventure first thing in the morning.
